国際情報科英語スピーチコンテストを開催しました。

平成２６年２月４日７限、グローバル講義室にて、国際情報科１、２年生による英語スピーチコンテストが開催されました。福田教頭による英語での挨拶(下に掲載)の後、１、２年生のクラスから各５名が予選で選ばれ、合計１０名によるスピーチの発表を行いました。

Head teacher, Mr.Fukuda’s Speech:
Our honorable principal, Seiichi Matsumoto often tells us to be independent, so today I will talk about the independence in studying. 
Teruyuki Hirota, who is a famous scholar of education, spent his high school life in Okayama.
He says there are four steps in the development of the way of studying.
Step 1, a learner performs what is ordered by teachers.
Step 2, he can do that without any direction.
Step 3, he can decide what to do.
And final step, he can do that in cooperation with the group.
You have spent much time in preparation for this speech contest, and so have I. Anyway, which step do you stand on now? I hope you all will go up the stairs of the way of studying step by step.
