Teruyuki Hirota, who is a famous scholar of education, spent his high school life in Okayama.
He says there are four steps in the development of the way of studying.
Step 1, a learner performs what is ordered by teachers.
Step 2, he can do that without any direction.
Step 3, he can decide what to do.
And final step, he can do that in cooperation with the group.
You have spent much time in preparation for this speech contest, and so have I. Anyway, which step do you stand on now?
