But there are areas in the world where wars still continue. People get hurt in war around the world. Is there any reason for war to exist? Frendensdorf international village is in Germany. Do you know frendensdorf international village? It is NGO to relieve the children who were hurt in wars. It was founded by residents of Germany. The reason for founding it was the 6-day war between Israel and Egypt. The main activity there is to treat children wounded in the war. We learned about frendensdorf international on a TV program in which Azuma Chizuru visited there. She's supporting frendensdorf international village. Due to her activity to support it, the total collected contributions are about 9 hundred and seventy million yen. In Japan, there are people who wish for peace. What is the start of wars? Why was war invented? Innocent children are killed in war. Why? Why? Why? Can you hear wounded children's metal cry? Soldiers suddenly come in a house, and shot a gun for the children. Now the children have difficulty walking. There are children whose parents were killed in front of them, and children who lost their home, children who have had difficulty living. What on earth did the children do? Now, there are people fighting in the world. There are children who need help in the countries of the world. In recent years, countries' names have been heard in the news and paper, and disappeared, and gradually we don't come to pay attention to these countries. But even if we haven't heard them on TV, newspapers, children's sadness and pain will never disappear. Many children are still suffering from civil war, hunger, disease. I hope weapons, bombs, soldiers, and war will disappear forever.
